Redefining the flow: breaking
menstrual taboos one step at a time.

We are a menstrual hygiene awareness foundation dedicated to breaking the stigma and taboo surrounding menstruation. We believe that education and access to essential products are vital for empowering individuals to embrace their cycles with dignity and confidence.

Through our initiatives, we organize awareness drives, distribute sanitary products to underserved communities, and foster open conversations about menstrual health.

We are committed to redefining the narrative around menstruation and building a future where every individual can flow forward—fearlessly and stigma-free.

About Us

Menstrual Drives

  • Our inaugural drive was held at the HUM Foundation in Malad. The session included an informative talk aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation and fostering an open dialogue about women’s health. Engaging with the attendees allowed us to address misconceptions, provide practical advice, and emphasize the importance of access to hygienic resources. The drive concluded successfully with the distribution of sanitary napkins to all participants, aligning with our goal of creating tangible, positive change in underserved communities. This collaboration with the HUM Foundation, an organization dedicated to uplifting marginalized groups, was deeply rewarding and further strengthened our commitment to advocating for women’s health and empowerment.

  • Our second drive was held at a school in the fisherman colony in Colaba, where we extended Flow Forward’s mission of spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene. Speaking with young girls in this vibrant community was an enriching experience. Through an interactive workshop, we addressed common myths surrounding menstruation and equipped them with accurate information to empower them in managing their health with confidence. We also distributed sanitary napkins to ensure access to essential hygiene resources, aligning with our goal of creating meaningful and tangible change. The curiosity and eagerness of the students to learn underscored the importance of education in breaking stigmas and fostering a more informed society. This drive reaffirmed our commitment to advocating for women’s health and making a difference at the grassroots level.

Our Founder

A dedicated student from Mumbai, currently in the 11th grade at BD Somani International School, Muskan is passionate about history, global politics, and advocating for women’s rights. She has always been driven by a strong desire to create positive change in her community.

Growing up, Muskan observed how the stigma surrounding menstruation limits opportunities and affects self-esteem. This led her to create a platform that breaks these barriers, fostering open conversations about menstrual health and empowerment while ensuring access to menstrual hygiene products.
